Human Life Sciences

For students who have received an education in this Faculty will have the opportunity to pursue further academic learning in one of the fields in the study of Human Life and to conduct research for graduation. It will be possible to obtain a specialized license to teach family studies at junior high or high school or to become a health room teacher.

Childhood Education

It is possible to obtain a specialized license to teach at an elementary school or kindergarten. In this course we strive for the improvement of practical instruction through such methods as practicums and interviews based on the enthusiastic education stance of all teachers. We also offer strong support so that our students can pass the teaching employment exam.

Midwifery

The Midwifery Department educates students to become knowledgeable and skillful midwives who can provide natural and safe childbirths as a profession.

Music

Musical Instruments

Students not only study course subjects but perform with other musical instruments in chamber music, duos, and ensembles to improve their performing skills. As well, a joint recital at the completion of their course is held at Murasaki Hall which provides students an opportunity to display the results of their learning. At the completion of this one-year course students can obtain a junior high and high school music teacher license.

Voice

This one-year course allows students to pursue the possibilities of their own themes. Students are given opportunities to challenge themselves by participating in such events as auditions, concerts, and summer and winter seminars which are held in Vienna, A Joint Recital held at the end of this course at Murasaki Hall provides students a valuable experience to demonstrate their musical abilities. As well, the completion of this course allows students to obtain a teaching license to teach music at junior high and high schools.
